I had a blast at the This Ain’t Your Mama’s Wedding + Party Expo 2 by Homespun Parties + Events. I saw so many crafty friends, met new creative folks, and chatted with so many Chattanooga brides! Such a fun event – I hope you made it!

A Little Bit About Me, Kate Smith

Hi there, I’m a taco-lovin’, Teva flip-flop wearin’ Chattanooga artist who loves to letter when I’m not following around The Avett Brothers or my toddler!

I first started lettering the Christmas I was 9, when I received a calligraphy kit, complete with markers and an instruction book. I quickly progressed to the bubble letters, dot letters, and the 3-D letters of the 1980s. I was awesome with a paint pen. My interest was renewed when my brother proposed to his wife and my mother wanted to create elegant and unique invitations for their rehearsal dinner.

Of course, I can help with your wedding invitations, but I can also help with birthday invitations, anniversary invitations, baby announcements, and even holiday cards. Please take a look at some samples and then contact me to discuss how I can help with your project.
